Our commitment
BioForm Rx is committed to making our website and patient portal accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What we do
- Design pages that work with keyboard navigation and screen readers, with descriptive link text, form labels and image alternative text.
- Maintain sufficient color contrast and text that can be resized without loss of content.
- Provide captions or transcripts for video content we produce.
- Test new pages and templates for accessibility before publishing and review existing pages regularly.
- Train our team on accessible content practices.
Accommodations in your care
If you need an accommodation to complete intake, attend a video visit or communicate with your care team, such as large-print materials, extra time, a relay service or an alternative communication method, contact us and we will work with you to provide it at no cost.
Third-party content
Some parts of our services, such as intake forms, the patient portal, lab ordering and payment, are provided by third-party vendors. We select vendors that support accessibility and will help you if you encounter a barrier in any of these tools.
